Boleh88 Responsible Gaming – Play Safe

At boleh88, we believe that healthy entertainment starts with personal responsibility. Our platform provides a range of tools and support to ensure you always play in control — not the other way around.

Important: Online gaming is for entertainment only. If you feel that your gaming habits are starting to affect your daily life, relationships, or finances, please use the support tools provided or contact our support team.

boleh88 Responsible Gaming Principles

At boleh88, responsible gaming is more than a slogan — it is at the core of how we operate. We understand that while the majority of our members enjoy the platform purely as entertainment, some individuals may at times struggle to control their playing habits.

That is why boleh88 invests in the infrastructure and tools that allow every member to manage their own gaming experience — without relying on others. We believe that the enjoyment of playing is most meaningful when it is done consciously, in control, and within reasonable limits.

Our platform is built around several core responsible gaming principles:

  • Play for entertainment, not income: Do not treat betting as a source of money to cover daily expenses or pay off debts.
  • Set limits before you play: Decide in advance how much you are willing to spend — and stick to that limit.
  • Playing time also needs to be managed: Set appropriate times for gaming and do not let it eat into time for work, family, or other responsibilities.
  • Do not chase losses: Losses are part of the game. Trying to recover them with bigger bets will only make things worse.
  • Play with a clear head: Avoid playing when you are stressed, angry, upset, or under the influence of alcohol.

Remember: Winning is an exciting bonus, not a guarantee. Every game has a house edge — play with realistic expectations and enjoy the experience.

Self-Control Tools Provided by boleh88

Boleh88 provides a suite of self-control tools that can be activated directly from your account settings. These tools are designed to help you maintain control over your playing habits without needing to contact support first.

Deposit Limit Set a daily, weekly, or monthly deposit amount that cannot be exceeded.
Session Time Limit Limit your playing time per session and receive reminders when you are approaching the limit.
Loss Limit Set a maximum loss limit within a defined period — the system will stop automatically once the limit is reached.
Time-Out Take a break from the platform for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days as needed.
Self-Exclusion Exclude yourself from the platform for a period of 6 months to 5 years, or permanently.
Disable Promotions Stop receiving bonus and promotional offers that may encourage excessive wagering.

All limits set take effect immediately. Any request to increase the limit will be processed within 7 days — this cooling-off period is for your own well-being.

Warning Signs You Should Know

Problem gambling rarely appears overnight — it typically develops gradually and can be difficult for those involved to recognize. Here are the warning signs to watch out for, whether in yourself or someone you care about:

Frequently thinking about gambling even while doing other activities
Betting with money intended for bills or basic necessities
Needing to wager larger amounts to get the same level of excitement
Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when unable to play
Hiding your gaming habits from family or friends
Continuing to play in an attempt to recover money already lost
Relationships with family and friends becoming strained due to time spent playing
Declining work or academic performance due to a mind constantly preoccupied with gaming

If you identify two or more of the above signs in yourself, this is a signal that you may need help. Acting early is far easier than waiting for the problem to become more serious.

Check Your Own Gaming Habits

Answer the following questions honestly. This is not a formal test, but it can help you assess whether your playing habits are still under control or require closer attention.

Self-Reflection Questions

Have you ever played longer or spent more than you originally planned?
Have you ever lied to family members about how much time or money you have spent playing?
Do you play to escape problems or stress in your daily life?
Have you ever borrowed money or sold belongings to fund your betting?
Do you find it hard to stop playing once you have started?
Have people close to you ever expressed concern about your playing habits?

If you answered "yes" to two or more questions, we encourage you to use the available self-control tools or contact our support team for further guidance.

Underage User Protection

Boleh88 takes the protection of minors extremely seriously. Our platform is exclusively for users aged 18 and above, and we have strict measures in place to enforce this policy.

  • Age verification during registration: Every new member is required to verify their date of birth during the registration process, and identity document verification is conducted as part of the KYC process.
  • Thorough KYC verification: Identity verification documents such as a national ID or passport are checked to confirm age before any account is fully activated.
  • Immediate Suspension: Any account suspected of being used by a minor will be suspended immediately while an investigation is carried out.

For parents and guardians: If you share a device with children, we encourage the use of parental control software to block access to online gambling sites. Also ensure that your login credentials are stored securely and are not easily accessible to children.

If you suspect a minor is using this platform, please contact our support team immediately so that action can be taken.

How to Get Help

Acknowledging that you need help is a sign of strength, not weakness. There are several ways to get support — whether through our platform or trusted external resources.

Via boleh88

  1. Log in to your account and go to the Account Settings.
  2. Select menu Responsible Gaming to access all responsible gaming tools.
  3. Activate deposit limits, session limits, or self-exclusion based on your needs.
  4. Contact our support team via live chat — available 24/7 — for personalised guidance.

External Help Resources

In addition to the tools we provide, there are organisations offering professional support to individuals facing gambling problems in Malaysia:

  • Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH): Provides mental health services and counselling through government hospitals nationwide.
  • Kasih Hotline 15999: Counselling and social support services you can reach out to when you need someone to talk to.
  • Malaysian Association for Counselling: Can connect you with a certified counsellor for in-person or online sessions.
  • Psychiatric Specialist Hospital: Psychiatrists and clinical psychologists at both private and government hospitals can assist with more serious cases.

You don't have to face this alone. Whether the issue is small or large, support is always available. The most important first step is acknowledging the need and seeking help.

FAQ – Responsible Gaming

Yes, you can set daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits directly from the Account Settings > Responsible Gaming without needing to contact the support team. The limit takes effect immediately once saved.

The minimum self-exclusion period is 6 months. You may also choose a period of 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or permanent exclusion. During the exclusion period, you will not be able to log in or make deposits to your account.

No — self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the set period ends. This is a policy we enforce strictly to ensure the tool remains truly effective. After the period expires, there is an additional cooling-off process before the account can be reactivated.

Your account balance remains safe throughout the exclusion period. You may contact our support team to request a withdrawal of your balance to your registered bank account. All balances are guaranteed and are not affected by your exclusion status.

No. Your personal information is not shared with any external organisation without your consent. Should you wish to be referred to a counselling service, that decision is entirely yours and we will only facilitate the process upon your own request.
